2024Events that make the Sapphire Coast special:

  • Blue Water Classic Game Fishing Tournament - Friday 26 to Sunday 28 January - hosted by Bermagui Big Game Anglers Club, the 88th Tournament is a NSW Game Fishing Sanctioned Tournament.  

  • Cobargo Folk Festival - Friday 1 to Sunday 3 March - The 26th Festival will bring you the best of folk and roots music in a safe and friendly environment at the beautiful Cobargo Showground.
  • Sculpture Bermagui - Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 March - is an annual event which includes an exhibition of outdoor sculpture pieces in the magnificent settings on the headland of Dickinson Point and the Dickinson Park foreshore. As well as indoor sculptural pieces on display in the Bermagui Community Centre.

  • Four Winds Music Festival - Friday 29 to Sunday 31 March - A celebration of classical, cultural and world music. Held annually over Easter in a parkland bush amphitheatre at the Four Winds site at Barragga Bay near Bermagui. Performances are also held in Bermagui. 

  • Narooma Oyster Festival - Friday 3 and Saturday 5 May - Join growers, chefs and producers to celebrate the oyster on the shores of Wagonga Inlet, Narooma – land of clear, blue water. Discover tasty sustainable produce like fish and shellfish, abalone, urchins, kelp, dairy, olives and more. 

  • ReBoot in Bermagui - Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October -re-activate, re-energise and relax in Bermagui’s beautiful coastal environment. Fun runs, ocean swims, social group bike ride, teams tug-o-war, stand up paddle and surf lessons. Or join in yoga, tai chi, pilates, golf, barefoot bowls, badminton and more. For kids there’s a fun run, Skate & Scoot competition and Oops! The Clown. Cash and voucher prizes to be won! Full program and online registration available in August. 

  • Bermagui Whale Opening Season - Walawaani Muriyira-Waraga - Date to be announced -  This new event will feature local Aboriginal speakers and demonstrations, an ocean paddle out to welcome the whales, whale themed talks by local experts and exclusive whale watching charters for community members. 

  • Wanderer Festival - Dates to be announced - A three day celebration of music and art, taking place in Pambula. 
  • Narooma Boats Afloat - Dates to be announced - an annual weekend festival held on Wagonga Inlet, Narooma celebrating traditional wooden boats in all their varied forms - from clinkers and putt-putt to launches, cruisers and yachts. 

  • Montreal Goldfield Annual Heritage Day  Date to be announced - A fun morning- for all the family with tours and music, sausage sizzle, billy tea and damper, bullock team, lots of kids things, gold panning, stalls and more.
