Bermagui area information:

Beautiful and varied, there is much to do in Bermagui and the Sapphire Coast. Susie and Keith are more than happy to assist you with your touring agenda or visit the nearby Bermagui Visitors and Information Centre in Bunga Road.

• Bermagui has a number of top class restaurants and cafes. Whilst in Bermagui make sure you sample our culinary delights

• The Bermagui Country Club has a world class 18 hole championship golf course and is a short distance from Captain's Quarters. In addition to the golf course the club has many other sporting facilities including tennis courts and lawn bowls.

• Bermagui has numerous community events during the year celebrating the many facets of life in our area. View Events

• Bermagui is famous for fishing being only 11 nautical miles from the continental shelf. Depending on the season you may catch Tuna, Yellowfin, Bluefin or Albacore as well as traditional flathead, snapper etc. The harbour is a short walk, enjoy a day on a fishing charter or hire a 'tinny' and try your luck in the Bermagui River.

• The newly built Fishermen’s Wharf is not to be missed whilst visiting Bermagui. Whether you are looking for fine dining or a quick snack The Fishermen’s Wharf offers it all. Make sure you visit The Pineapple House or Bermagui Gifts for some mementos of your visit to Bermagui.

• Walk the Bermagui Lagoon and Flora and Fauna Nature Reserve coastal trail, situated almost at your front door or take a day trip to our numerous National Parks including the famous Montague Island.

• Visit the Wetland Bird Sanctuaries.

• The recently restored famous Blue Pool is a leisurely walk or short drive.

• For the more adventureous the Mountain Bike Park is a short distance away.

• For the art lovers the region hosts some fantastic galleries all within a leisurely drive: essentialobject, Narek Galleries and Ivy Hill Gallery.

• A visit to the historic towns of Central Tilba, Tilba Tilba and Cobargo are a must.

• On the drive to Cobargo make sure you stop at Maryvale Lavender Farm.

• The region is quickly becoming known for its boutique wineries, a wine tasting is a must: the award winning Belgrave Park Winery, Rusty Fig Winery, Mimosa Winery & restaurant, Tilba Winery & restaurant.

• Dickinson Park hosts the Bermagui Markets every third Sunday of each month where you can buy local produce and goodies.

• Visit Sapphire Coast Tourism to discover what else you can do whilst in the tranquil Sapphire Coast.
